Budapest Diamond Way Buddhist Center opening hours during the course

 

The center's address is 1074 Budapest (District VII), Rózsák tere 4-5. The main entrance to the center faces Rózsák tere. Use the doorbell to enter the building. At the back entrance in Munkás utca, there is no doorbell.

OPENING HOURS

​

Until September 26:

from 6:00 to 9:00 pm (as usual)

​

From September 27 to 29:

During the course, the center is closed to the public. If you take part in the course, you may visit the center from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm and from 8:00 pm to 12:00 am (midnight) when the Lama is not teaching.

​

From September 30:

from 6:00 to 9:00 pm (back to the usual schedule) we’re open to the public again

Sept. 23 Monday

7:00 pm – Meditation on the 16th Karmapa

8:00 pm – Introduction to Buddhism (free lecture)

Sept. 24 Tuesday

7:00 pm – Meditation on the 16th Karmapa

8:00 pm – Meditation on the 8th Karmapa

​

Sept. 25 Wednesday

7:00 pm – Meditation on the 16th Karmapa

​

Sept. 26 Thursday

7:00 pm – Meditation on the 16th Karmapa

8.15 pm – Introductory lecture with international travelling teachers (in English with Hungarian translation)

Sept. 27-29 Friday–Sunday

The Center is officially closed to the public, but students arriving in Budapest for the course may visit from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm and from 8:00 pm to 12:00 am (midnight).

Sept. 30 Monday

7:00 pm – Meditation on the 16th Karmapa

8:00 pm – Introduction to Buddhism (free lecture)

ACCOMMODATION

​

We cannot provide you accommodation in the Center between September 21 and October 1.

​

 

PARKING

​

Parking is not available in the Center.

There is paid parking in the nearby streets. As our location is central residential, parking spaces are scarce during the day. Please check the parking meters for prices and hours and signs for no parking spots and zones.
