INVITATION

Jamgön Kongtrul Rinpoche, one of the lineage holders of the Karma Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism will visit Budapest to give teachings and an initiation on 20-22 September at the request of Lama Ole Nydahl. The event is organized by the Diamond Way Buddhist Community, Hungary.

Jamgön Kongtrul Rinpoche Mingyur Drakpa Senghe

Jamgön Kongtrul Mingyur Drakpa Senghe was born in 1995 in Nepal, as the son of Beru Khyentse Rinpoche. The 17th Karmapa Thaye Dorje recognised him as the 4th incarnation of the great Jamgön Kongtrul Lodrö Thaye in 1996. LodröThaye was an excellent scholar and meditation master in the 19th century, and left a huge heritage behind him to all the Buddhist lineages. In 2016 the 17th Karmapa Thaye Dorje presented Jamgön Kongtrul Mingyur Drakpa Senghe with a red crown, which also represents that he is one of the holders of the Karma Kagyü lineage.

Empowerment: Vajrayogini Part 2*: one of the Five Main Yidam Practices of the 1st Karmapa Dusum Khyenpa

*It is essential to attend both parts of the empowerment

Translation

Jamgön Kongtrul Rinpoche will teach in English. Translation will be available through FM radio. We kindly ask everyone who wishes to access the translation, to bring along the necessary equipment (radio or mobile phone which can play FM radio, and earphones). Thank you for your understanding!

The Budapest Center during the course

You can visit our center during the course, but we wil have special opening hours, so please check with us before your visit.

TICKETS

Teaching (Friday):

Adult: 7500 Ft;

Junior (15-18 years old): 2500 Ft

Children under 14 can take part in the programs for free.

Empowerment (Saturday-Sunday):

Adult two-day pass: 15000 Ft

Junior two-day pass (15-18 years old): 5000 Ft

Children under 14 can take part in the programs for free.
